Salt n Pepa sold more than 15 million records worldwide, changed the face of hip hop and feminism, and spawned a whole generation of female pop acts – Lauryn Hill, Missy Elliot and Beyonce included. The trio are still the biggest selling female rap act but haven't had quite the same success since disbanding in 2002. Now they're back though – with a new album due later this year – and the musical world is waiting to see exactly how they're gonna do it...
